The Osceola Water Board of Trustees would like to reach out and remind everyone that, although Osceola saw a fairly wet spring and early summer, West Lake water levels have been steadily decreasing. Over the last few months, there has been little to no measurable rainfall, with no significant relief in sight. This week the USDA/NOAA drought monitor classified conditions in Clarke County and most of Southern Iowa as “abnormally dry”.
